What You'll Do:
As an Integration Engineer with experience in Ethereum ecosystem, you will play a critical role in bringing Babylon to the Ethereum ecosystem. This involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing integrations for seamless interoperability between Babylon and EVM chains and Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solutions. You'll work closely with core protocol engineers to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable integrations that leverage the power of Ethereum smart contracts and the broader ecosystem.
About You:
You are a software engineer with a deep understanding of Ethereum and its ecosystem. You have a proven track record of building and deploying smart contracts, and you are passionate about bridging Ethereum with other blockchains.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Solidity smart contracts and code base relevant to Ethereum consensus layer (i.e., beacon chain), execution layer (i.e., go-ethereum) for integration with the Babylon protocol.
Design integration solutions for performance, security, and reliability.
Collaborate with core protocol engineers to identify and resolve integration challenges.
Contribute to the development of Babylon's tooling and SDKs for Ethereum.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Ethereum ecosystem and Layer 2 scaling solutions.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in blockchain development in Go and/or Rust.
Deep understanding of Ethereum infrastructure, including Ethereum development tools (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle) and Ethereum consensus clients (e.g., Lighthouse, Prysm) /execution clients (e.g., Geth, Nethermind, Besu).
Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Layer-2 protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other blockchain ecosystems (e.g., Cosmos, Solana).
Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and staking ecosystem.
