DESCRIPTION: The Maintenance Technician is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Foundry, a subsidiary of the blockchain industry’s most prolific and active investor, Digital Currency Group. Reporting to the Site Manager, the Maintenance Technician will perform regular upkeep and maintenance of our mining facility.

This is a rare invitation to join a small, highly professional entrepreneurial group, with the backing of the most established player in the fast-growing crypto space.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning.
• Diagnose and address minor issues with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Repair or replace filters.
• Address minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines in all maintenance activities.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding maintenance issues.

Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in basic maintenance work.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry 35-40 lbs.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
