About us:

Parallel is an institutional-grade DeFi parachain building in the Polkadot ecosystem to empower the community to earn interest on their assets, with the utmost safety and security in mind. We chose to build in the Polkadot ecosystem because Polkadot (and Kusama by extension) allows for faster and cheaper transactions, shared security, interoperability, and strong upgradability. Our primary goal is to create an innovative lending, borrowing, staking system that uses the power of Polkadot to generate the greatest capital efficiency for everyone involved.

Responsibilities:

As a Web3 Full-Stack Developer at Parallel you will:

• Own and maintain the delivery and iteration of defi products
• Write reusable, testable code components
• Innovate and expand on existing DeFi solutions to help evolve the technology vision at Parallel
• Collaborate on improving standards and practices for building applications at scale
• Utilize industry standards for application security and configuration management

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in React, Node.js
• Proficiency with javascript and typescript languages
• Experience delivering and maintaining large scale user facing applications
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and products
• Strong English communication skills and experienced using team collaboration tools with developers and product owners

Bonus:

• Experience in building and maintaining web3 applications on Ethereum or EVM compatible chains.
• Experience with test driven development practices (TDD)
