Orca is the most user-friendly AMM DEX on Solana. We’re looking for a Developer Advocate to help developers build on Orca. As one of the leading DeFi apps on Solana, we offer a unique chance to shape the culture of the broader DeFi ecosystem. Never built on Solana before? No problem — as long as you have strong engineering fundamentals, we can teach you what you need to know. (Most of the devs on the Orca team had never worked in web3 before!) About our team:

What you'll do:

Help participants in the Whirlpools Builders Program integrate Orca through the Whirlpools SDK or direct CPIs with the Rust + Anchor smart contract Write technical documentation, including code examples and walkthroughs, for the Orca Developer Portal and GitHub Provide input on Orca's roadmap and contribute to our lively remote culture Spend most of your (work)day coding and connecting with teams... on your schedule!

What you bring

Extensive experience with technical writing in English A strong POV on what turns developer docs from "good" to "great" Excitement to work with builders on projects spanning DeFi, NFTs, gaming, analytics, and more Resonance with Orca’s brand values (professional, principled, and playful 🐳)

Bonus points if you have...

Written technical documentation for a public project Contributed to open-source projects Used Orca for trading and/or liquidity provision Participated in DeFi, especially the Solana ecosystem An appreciation for cheesy marine puns
