My name is Eunho Lee (Jesse) and I am the head of Altverse, an incubation project in Krust Universe, a Kakao community and subsidiary.
As Krust's in-house venture, we are an organization with the goal of creating Altverse, a "Metaverse for global gig economy workers" and spin-off independently.
Krust Universe is an affiliate of Kakao that is in charge of global, blockchain (Crypto), and Metaverse related businesses and investments. Many good talents from Kakao have moved to Krust and are creating various services for Web3.0, a new business of the future. Currently, about 200 employees are working at the headquarters in Singapore and the branch in Seoul.
Altverse is creating a Metaverse that helps gig workers earn money in various DAOs more comfortably on a Web3-based transparent and fair reward. The Metaverse we are defining is focused on economic activity, and we avoid Metaverses with normal characters running around.
Globally, there are 50 million gig workers and it is growing rapidly. With Web3 and Metaverse, I think this way of working will change our lives significantly. Matching services such as Upwork, Kmong, and Wanted, which we are contacting now, also think that the communication method will change.
We have a plan to launch a service within 3 months targeting the global market to receive investment and grow rapidly. As a founding member for this purpose, I would like to ask if you would like to join the team.
