We are seeking a L&D Senior Officer to support our expansion into all global frontiers and provide support to the Group Compliance L&D Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts a yearly review of training and development needs
- Creates training and development programs and goals
- Manages expenditures against the departmental budget
- Obtains and/or creates excellent training materials via the use of a range of media
- Ensures that managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development are trained and coached
- Employee development and training events are planned, organised, facilitated, and supplied
- Creates and maintains corporate communications such as bulletin boards and newsletters to keep staff informed about training and development activities and resources
- Follows up on all finished training to evaluate and quantify resultsModifies programs as neededWorks well as part of a team with other members of management and HR personnel
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years directly related experience in L&D role with a substantial knowledge of setting up processes and training framework
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin
- An undergraduate degree is required and a law degree is a plus
- Professional certifications (L&D, ACAMS) is a plus
