XRPL Grants enables software developers to build inclusive standards, developer tools, and apps that leverage the XRP Ledger and blockchain technology. XRP is a leading cryptocurrency used in cross-border payments, web monetization, and more. By providing funding for XRPL projects, XRPL Grants encourages developers to innovate in the Internet of Value.

Ripple is looking to hire a Grants Program Manager for the Developer Grants program. As a member of the RippleX Developer Programs team, you will engage with external developers in the XRPL open source community and assist with day-to-day operations of the Grants program. You will ensure that developers have an excellent experience from their application to the completion of their grant work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Handle pre- and post-grant administration + oversight
• Develop streamlined approval processes with relevant internal stakeholders
• Assist with curation of and communication with the Grants judging committee
• Monitor, analyze, and report on the Grant applicants and their progress over time
• Define and measure success metrics, and assist with the preparation of progress reports
• Coordinate with Compliance + Legal to ensure prospective Grantees are approved and maintain compliance
• Track status of Grants as they transition through stages (application -> judging -> finalist -> compliance/legal/tax -> interview -> award amount determination -> funds distribution -> mentor matching -> follow-up -> final report)
• Work collaboratively with Legal and Finance to create effective and efficient disbursement processes
• Recommend and contribute to process improvements
• Reply to emails from prospective applicants
• Coordinate with Marketing to promote to ensure the increasing mindshare + ongoing success of the Grants program

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• 2-5 years of professional working experience
• Demonstrated interest in the XRP Ledger
• Deep understanding of the fundamentals of the XRPL or other cryptocurrency or blockchain technologies
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience in managing Grant applications and projects
• Demonstrated experience in implementing policies and procedures
• Ability to build and manage relationships with software developers
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
