The Role
Superform Labs is looking for an exceptional frontend engineer to help build the next generation of the Superform Marketplace. You will build the best platform for earning and distributing yield on chain, bar no other. You will closely work with with two other amazing frontend engineers and an absolute weapon of a designer to deliver an S-tier onchain user experience.
What you’ll do
- Build new core experiences on Superform Marketplace, as well as refine existing experiences
- Work on every aspect of the frontend experience from the transaction flow, to vault pages, to the portfolio, to our explorer
- Maintain core UI components built off the design system
- Collaborate closely with product and design to deliver magical UX experiences as a part of our frontend team
- Be boots on the ground, dog fooding what you build and constantly optimizing what you build based on data and user feedback
Who you are:
- Exceptional attention to detail, capable of delivering pixel-perfect experiences
- Passionate about staying abreast of the crypto landscape, regularly exploring other crypto apps to bring innovative ideas and best practices back to Superform
- You take pride in high-quality craftsmanship, your work is a representation of yourself
- Many DeFi frontends frustrate you and you have great ideas on how to improve them
- You’re a crypto native with hands-on building experience in crypto, as well as a personal user of DeFi
- You have a solid understanding of REST APIs and backend operations, are familiar with edge (or lambda) functions, and can articulate the differences between edge function, API, and SSR in React
- You have a habit of keeping your git history clean and are familiar with concepts like git-flow, semantic release, Conventional Commits, GitHub actions, and CI/CD.
- Great understanding of blockchain fundamentals, knowledge of how transactions are constructed and propagated across chains e.g. You understand the relationship between transaction fee, gas price, and gas limit
- You care as much about aesthetics as you do about functionality, you enjoy working closely with designers
- You’re well-versed in GRASP principles, Clean Architecture, and OOP Design patterns. Fauler is not just a name to you, and React / MobX / Next.js? You're a pro
- Deep understanding of web performance optimization and error monitoring.
- You appreciate clean and simple code and are obsessed with testing and code quality
- You love challenging yourself and constantly strive to be better than you were six months ago
- You can single-handedly take designs and specs to production-ready code under a deadline
- When there’s a bug or an incident your first thought is “how can I help” not “who’s fault is this”

Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in frontend development with significant exposure to building in the crypto/DeFi/Web3 space
- Based in the Americas (our frontend team already has Asia and Europe coverage)
- Proficiency in React, Next.js, Tailwind, and Web3 libraries like Ethers/Wagmi/Viem.
- Thorough knowledge of ES6+ JavaScript; TypeScript preferred
- Familiarity with React Hooks, State Management, Clean Architecture
- Experience with GitHub, code-reviews, conventional commits, semantic release, and GitHub Actions
- Must be able to start work at 10am Eastern (US) Mon - Fri
Nice to have:
- Proficiency in D3.js or any other data visualization libraries
- Any experience with shaders
