Rust Developer for Solana Blockchain

Job Type: Flexibly Contract, Hourly
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Rust Developer with experience in blockchain technologies, specifically on the Solana platform. This position is contingent upon our client's formal engagement with us and will commence on a flexible hourly basis. There may be an opportunity in the future for this position to transition into a permanent, full-time role. As a Rust Developer, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing our DeFi protocols to improve scalability and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on the Solana blockchain.
- Write robust, efficient, and secure code in Rust.
- Collaborate with the product team to design and implement new features.
- Analyze and optimize system performance to handle high transaction throughput.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain standard coding practices.
- Stay updated with new blockchain technologies and cryptography methods.
- Proficiency in Rust programming language.
- Experience with blockchain technology, specifically Solana.
- Understanding of DeFi protocols and the broader DeFi ecosystem.
- Strong background in algorithms, data structures, and software design.
- Experience with distributed systems and consensus mechanisms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with other programming languages such as C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Anchor framework on Solana.
- Contribution to open-source projects.
