Web3 Head of Marketing - Canada Wide - Remote

Newton team members are spread out across Canada within a fully-remote capacity.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all marketing campaigns for their company or department
• Implement strategy
• Ensure the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones
• Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including product management, sales, or customer support
• Updating senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns
• Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-­facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
• Conceptualize and execute on multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels
• Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, and document business processes
• Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly
• Manage and coordinate marketing and creative staff
• Collaborate with media organizations and advertising agencies
• Brainstorm ideas for new campaigns
• Monitor current campaigns, ensuring their staff meets deadlines and complete necessary tasks
• Own the social content development process to bring content to life that is on-time, on brand and platform relevant

Required skills and qualifications:

• Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
• Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
• A deep understanding of social media channels including, but not limited to, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, and Reddit

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field
• Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
