About Global Marketing

The Global Marketing team leads the brand, marketing and communication across the ConsenSys portfolio of products and services. We are responsible for maintaining our brand system, developing marketing programs that engage the consumer and developer communities, creating awareness for and driving usage of our product offerings, building community with our active audience of web3 participants, and overseeing our public relations activities with press and key stakeholders. We are a globally distributed team of brand builders and web3 enthusiasts who create cutting edge marketing programs that drive strong outcomes. 

What you’ll do

 

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be a key member of the marketing team, responsible for alignment, coordination, and operational planning across our quickly growing team. You will support the CMO directly, managing calendars, expenses, and coordinating activities across the business. You will also play a key role in key marketing leadership forums and meetings, and will support high priority projects within the organization. You will be a core contributor to the evolution of marketing in Web3 and be solving fun problems with creative people.

  • Time management and complete control over designated calendars:
    • Coordinating internal meetings between team leads, team members and the executive(s) using Zoom - being considerate of all time zones represented
    • Working extremely well with the other EAs in ConsenSys to help grow the business by considering everyone’s priorities/time zones - especially with the European/London EAs
    • Scheduling, tracking, and arranging internal & external meetings, including agenda & document preparation
    • Liaise with external clients and their respective EAs to find a mutually beneficial time for meetings, taking into account the time to prepare for the meeting and an array of global time zones
    • Project managing and organizing key initiatives
  • Ability/willingness to help coordinate meetings as requested by anyone in the executive team:
    • Manage conference needs; which includes, but not limited to:
    • Securing tickets to events, if not provided
    • Arranging the presenter needs (decks, prep calls, etc.)
  • Event planning (internal team offsites, occur quarterly):
    • Research venues
    • Flight logistics for all attendees
    • Plan agendas
    • research/book team-building activities
  • Tracking and/or approving expenses on Expensify:
    • You will be responsible for submitting:
      • your own expense reports
      • your managers’ expense reports
      • reviewing/approving the expense reports of the direct reports’ of your managers
  • Internal Communication:
    • Participate in company-wide information sharing, reporting on company-wide meetings about updates that your team needs to report and follow up regularly to keep the teams and stakeholders abreast of the important details.
  • Special projects:
    • From time to time you will be asked to support or lead special projects - this would require basic research ability (online) and be able to produce summary briefings and provide recommendations

 

About You:

  • Professional, personable, efficient, time-sensitive responses (email and Slack - internal messaging system)
  • Excellent at anticipating needs, attention to detail, and meticulous about your managers’ calendars
  • Based in US East Coast time zone
  • Switched-on approach to tasks, including relationship-building in a virtual environment
  • Strong ability to assess changing priorities, and adapt easily
  • Ability to request additional information when the brief is incomplete
  • Accountability to your executive and/or your team
  • Resourceful (able to find answers when needed)
  • Complete multiple complex projects against deadlines (project management tool/agile methodology)
  • A self-starter, who sees the big picture
  • Impressive organizational skills 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Focused, persistent, kind, curious, and thoughtful
  • Integrity and Confidentiality of sensitive materials

 

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting busy executives
  • Experience Working Remotely
  • Exceptional, adaptable people skills - ability to handle varying personality types
  • Amazing ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong writing skills for client-facing emails, reports, and internal communications
  • Master at scheduling meetings across multiple times zones
  • Preferably G-Suite/Google Workspace (Microsoft Outlook experience will suffice): email, calendar, docs, slides, and sheets
  • Zoom
  • Expensify or similar expense-related software
  • Concur or similar travel booking software
  • Flexible, willing to help anyone who asks, as capacity allows
