Blizzard Fund is seeking an associate to support our investment activities. This role represents a unique opportunity for a highly-motivated graduate to assume a wide set of responsibilities and make a significant impact in an entrepreneurial environment within the blockchain/cryptocurrency industry. They will be an integral part of a collaborative team of professionals and will be mentored on the venture investment process.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assist with administration and execution of the investment process
• Manage scheduling and communications across multiple channels
• Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Attending and reviewing pitches and evaluating investment opportunities, inclusive of preparing analyses to drive investment decisions
• Involvement in all aspects of due diligence on new investments (e.g. business analysis, competitive landscape, business model, and financial modeling / deal structuring)
• Working in a strategic capacity with Blizzard's existing portfolio companies
• Contribute to internal meetings in which new investments and portfolio companies are discussed and evaluated

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university
• Demonstrated personal interest in crypto/blockchain/web3 (professional experience not required)
• Up to 2 years of total prior work experience (inclusive of internships) within strategy consulting, investment banking, business development, partnerships or corporate development
• Intellectual curiosity in what makes great businesses and great investments
• Self-starter with superior work ethic and uncompromising personal integrity
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships with entrepreneurs
• Resides in NYC or the NY Metropolitan Area and able to work in office a few days per week (hybrid)
