BitGo is looking for a Senior Technical Writer who will join our team in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of APIs across BitGo’s product offerings
• Obtain a deep understanding of the workflows and services and translate them into simple and engaging content
• Evaluate current content and recommend and develop solutions for improvement
• Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize and write procedure manuals, technical specifications and process documentation
• Research, create and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allows for easy data migration
• Work with engineering and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage

Required

• 3-5 years of experience as a technical writer
• Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
• Skilled with industry tools such as Linux, git/GitHub, OpenApi, Markdown, HTML/CSS, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Experience working with engineering teams

Bonus Points

• You can point to a strong example of your technical writing adopted at a high-profile company
• Experience with crypto and the crypto industry
• Comfortable with TypeScript, Node.js, Python
• B.S. in Computer Science or relevant degree
• Certification through the Society for Technical Communication
