Your Mission
As the Germany PR Manager, your focus will be to build Bitpanda’s awareness, reputation and thought leadership in the field of investment in your market. You will report into the Global Communications Director and you will own the company’s local PR & communications strategy.
What you’ll do
- You will drivethe company's communications and PR in the German market. Based in Germany, you will have a place among the rest of the company's PR experts, who function as a single, smart and agile team, divided by expertise and tasks.
- You will contribute with your knowledge to the development of the global strategy and have the ownership to adapt it to create a specific communication plan for Germany.
- You will design a strategy for the external distribution of announcements and corporate content in Germany, in coordination with those responsible for the internal channels (blog, SoMe...). Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of results.
- You will create and implement a continued visibility plan for the company and its local and global spokespersons. Identifying, preparing and accompanying interviews, events and other speaking opportunities.
- Detection of media opportunities and newsjacking always on. Local inputs sharing with the rest of the team to create synergies, detect and build great stories. Also adapting and creating good content as press releases, opinion pieces or presentations.
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in PR agencies, in financial communications practice; in-house experience in a financial or investment entity will be a plus.
- Strong media relations among all German financial/fintech journalists.
- Experience launching and/or spearheading the communications and PR of a financial/fintech company.
- Experience in the field of building thought leadership with senior executives with the aim of positioning them as KOLs. Results-oriented mindset.
- Thoughtful, collaborative, with strong communication relationship skills and the ability to influence others. Thriving in an ever-changing environment, resilient and adaptable a rapidly growing global business that requires creativity, fast learning and out of the box thinking.
