About the role We are looking for a data scientist to join our derivatives exchange team. You will be contributing to the building of a fast growth trading platform with innovative crypto products. For all roles, we look for people who are passionate about blockchain and cryptocurrency innovation and equipped with energy, act as owners, and have exemplary work ethics.

Responsibilities Identify data elements and metrics for new product launch needs Establish techniques and metrics to profile and validate data quality Implement data models to execute the data cleaning for quant research and downstream platforms Develop and implement the data reporting system to automate data management and reporting Serve as a liaison between product management, risk operations, risk data engineering, and quant research teams. Work with subject experts to drive the data initiative for other business opportunities for the risk

Requirements A Masters or above degree in Math, Finance, Physics, Computer Science or similar quantitative fields required; a PhD is preferred 3+ years of relevant work experience Creative, Innovative, and Passionate in data science and cryptocurrency business Hard worker and team player, highly self-motived in learning and applying new techniques Ability to solve real world business problems using quantitative and computational techniques Ability to implement algorithms in multiple computing environments and languages Strong oral communication and documentation skills High performance in Python and SQL required Strong analytical skills and being a problem solver. Ability to work under their own initiative, in support of a strategic end goal. Knowledge in crypto and blockchain concepts and markets data is a plus Good knowledge in futures and options derivatives is a plus Experience using ML in data science is a plus
