Our client is creating a new way to design communications infrastructure that distributes computing authority across a wider group of personal devices, while giving creators the resources and autonomy to thrive in Web3. Their network is user-owned, and allows anyone around the world to contribute what they are able, and earn returns on that investment. Members of the community contribute content, run nodes, and ultimately provide the ecosystem with the computing power and attention that it needs to thrive and grow.
The internet is now the heart and mind of our global community, and is owned and managed by a powerful few who treat attention, not oil or electricity, as the scarcest resource. Our client makes it possible to build an internet owned by everyone who uses it.
While they provide many great technology tools to make it easier to build community-owned applications, the primary purpose of our client is to build an open knowledge graph, which will help our community share and record content, while also providing a record of who has found that information interesting, and when.
Role Summary
You will be leading our client's Social Media & Community engagement, and will be active in their Discord community and on our Twitter account, as well as relevant groups and channels across all platforms including Telegram.
You will be responsible for creating campaigns and content to increase their following and engagement, as well as leading the development of their existing Ambassador program. You will be one of the faces of the company!
Key Responsibilities

• Local community engagement across all channels
• Be active in key communities (i.e. developers & creators) across key verticals (i.e. node operators, developing on the network)
• Strategic marketing campaign & branding build-up
• Liaise with community group leaders and Key Opinion Leaders
• Channel potential partnership opportunities to the right people
• Assist in marketing and events
• Provide regular updates and local insight reports
• Advise on and implement localized strategies
  

The ideal candidate will have:

• Keen interest in blockchain, web3, and node networks
• Exposure in Web3 / blockchain community outlets in North America, additional regions are a bonus
• Prior experience in building, growing and managing communities
• Experience as a part of fast-growing communities like NEAR, Avalanche, Polkadot,
• Ethereum, or Solana is especially valuable
• Active in the Crypto communities on Twitter and Discord
• Comfortable using decentralized Crypto software such as wallets (e.g. Metamask) and running a lightweight node
• Be process driven and detail oriented, but also pragmatic and service focused
• Competent working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
