About the role
Outlier Ventures are looking for an associate level lawyer (3+ PQE) to work as a fully engaged member of the firm’s Legal Team of five lawyers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the contract management process for the firm’s various accelerator programmes, partnerships and service providers;
- Supporting the firm’s various accelerator programmes from a legal and regulatory perspective;
- Helping to prepare and maintain the firm’s internal contract template database;
- Monitoring relevant legal and regulatory changes in the emerging crypto space;
- Ensuring relevant legal and regulatory developments are reflected in the firm’s practices and processes;
- Assisting with corporate and regulatory filings and applications (where relevant);
- Supporting internal corporate governance and compliance, including maintaining board minutes, and records of resolutions and decisions.
We are looking for someone who:
- Hasexperience in corporate or commercial law preferably at a top law firm;
- high level of attention to detail and great project management skills;
- great contract drafting skills;
- clear communication skills;
- fast and independent learner;
- a true team player;
- working knowledge of or strong interest in developing an expertise in blockchains and decentralised technology;
- familiarity with the legal and regulatory framework of investments and cryptocurrencies.
