We are seeking strong, hardworking Product Quality Engineer with strong QA/Test/UI automation skills in (preferably) both Mobile and Web products to join our Product Team. The ideal Product Engineer will play an integral role in helping Ava Labs build and deliver groundbreaking applications for web3.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design, develop, maintain, prototype and execute functional, regression, integration and end-to-end tests.
- Maintain and improve automation frameworks that can be used by both Development and QA.
- Perform automated and manual testing efforts for our products.
- Help define, improve and implement QA standard methodologies.
Desired skills:
- Proficiency Javascript, Typescript or other testing language.
- Experience
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional experience in software QA/Test engineering
- Developed test automation using Javascript, TypeScript, Python, etc.
- Experience with UI automation frameworks and building test suites with Cypress, Selenium, Playwright or other test framework
- Experience crafting test strategies, test plans, and test cases
- Familiar with continuous integration and test frameworks
- Experience driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements and testing
- Efficient in effort estimation, planning, prioritization and time management
- Flexible with a positive “do what needs to be done” demeanor
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
