Risk Developer – Crypto / Hedge Fund

A New opportunity within a dedicated crypto and digital asset division of a global Hedge Fund.
The Opportunity:
Help build the new Digital unit, contributing to shape the leading asset manager for digital assets.
- Design, implement/automate and monitor the operational risk and treasury management processes
- Develop dashboards, screeners, live monitoring and alerting systems for continuous market, operational and margin monitoring
- Support emergency risk reduction, executing trades and treasury & margin management for the risk team
- Help oversee risk taking - monitoring their adequacy with their specific mandates
- Handle data & gateway communications between systems using code (API development)
Experience Required
- Preferred experience would be in quant or risk management function, either in a traditional setup (Hedge fund, Bank) or, ideally, at a crypto-native firm (e.g. crypto trading firm) - Experience at a Hedge fund or crypto focused hedge fund
- Strong Education: with a quantitative background, general understanding of markets and drivers, preferably first touch points with crypto. Ease with writing code, handling (large) data, automate processes via API calls.
- Crypto enthusiasm is key, strong work ethic, intellectually curious, analytical, proactive, strong communicator both verbally and written.
- Quant skills: strong quant skills, combined with coding skills to automate processes.
- Python is of particular interest, other useful languages include Java, Rust or Solidity.
- Crypto-knowledge: crypto-curiosity is a must, knowledge/experience is a plus
