Job Purpose:

BTIG seeks an Analyst to join the Franchise Sales team in our New York office. This individual will be responsible for a wide range of analytic responsibilities related to digital and crypto assets. The opportunity is a fit for someone with prior knowledge in blockchain & crypto assets, has a passion for the industry and is able to communicate well with internal and external clientele. This role collaborates with BTIG’s internal research teams to effectively communicate views and analysis to institutional and corporate clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Franchise Sales team to develop analytical tools for blockchain evaluation
• Communicate with BTIG research clients regarding blockchain associated corporates & protocols
• Identify and report on protocols and companies suitable for corporate banking opportunities
• Connectivity in the broad Blockchain ecosystem, involvement in projects
• Compile data into actionable reports; manage internal database
• Blockchain commentary on the ecosystem for the client base

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience; Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or Engineering
• SQL, Python, R & SAS and other data base analytical product experience
• Data analysis skillset, incorporating experience in SQL, APIs, Python, R, and SAS programming, Tableau software.
• Entrepreneurial experience in blockchain/crypto related activities
• Prior capital markets and derivatives experience is preferred
• Full-stack blockchain engineering experience preferred
• Experience evaluating crypto/blockchain projects is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Global Markets and Financial Instruments
• Self-starter with proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
