The Information Technology (IT) Team ❤️
As a Principal IT Systems Engineer, you’ll join our Information Technology (IT) team to provide quality technology solutions for MoonPay which are state of the art and secure, but always ensure that user experience is the priority. This role will report directly to the Director of Information Technology.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, inquisitive individual with a background in SaaS solutions, who is extremely customer focused and enjoys solving problems. We are currently looking for candidates in the US / UK / EMEA / APAC regions.

• Build a quality and comprehensive technology infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain effective operational processes.
• Deliver quality, prompt, cost effective and reliable technology services.
• Create best in class IT technology solutions which will enable MoonPay to deliver on its vision.

You should apply if ✅

• A passion for harnessing the power of digital currency and blockchain technology and services built on top of it.
• 5+ years experience at a financial institution, ideally in FinTech.
• 8+ years of experience with SaaS or Technology Solutions within Financial institution a positive.
• 3+ years of experience in IT Architecture.
• Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations.
• Ability to take lead on cross functional teams, to assess and develop full end to end architecture for SaaS solutions.
• Act as Technical advisor to other IT teams to assess full technology stack to avoid technical debt from incomplete solutions design.
• Able to work well independently or as part of a team.
• Customer oriented in your approach.
• An innovative and creative mind looking to suggest new solutions to old problems.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages will be considered an asset.
• First-rate decision making skills, bias for action and sound judgement.
• Ability to maintain a strong operational focus with the capacity to manage time sensitive workflows across competing priorities.
• B.A./B.S. degree; quantitative or technical degree a plus.
• Experience with TRM and/or Chainalysis is a plus.
