About the role

We are currently seeking a dynamic Social Media and Community Manager to become an integral part of our team at Sahara. Your key responsibility will be to expand our organic marketing channels. This role involves managing and enhancing our social media presence on platforms like Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in fostering our community on platforms such as Discord and Telegram, generating engagement initiatives, and monitoring essential performance metrics (KPIs) and growth analytics. Your creative input and analytical insights will be vital in developing and implementing community-driven programs and campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media and community strategies to boost brand awareness, engage the community, and shape Sahara's brand identity.

  • Manage a content calendar for short and long-form content on platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn.

  • Gain thorough knowledge of Sahara's products and services for effective communication across various channels.

  • Serve as an effective storyteller, crafting engaging narratives that capture interest and motivate action.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to devise and implement strategies for community growth and engagement.

  • Set up and manage Discord channels, including permissions, bots, and security.

  • Organize and conduct community events.

  • Manage and grow the community on platforms like Discord and Telegram.

  • Track, analyze, and report on community and campaign performance, offering recommendations for improvement.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive community growth and engagement.

Requirements

  • 2+ years proven experience as a Social Media and/or Community Manager in Web3 or AI.

  • Experience in building a Crypto community from scratch.

  • Deep familiarity with Crypto technology, slang, projects, and culture, especially CT.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to distill technical concepts into a clear and concise message that resonates with the target audience.

  • Collaborative spirit with the ability to work in a dynamic, startup environment.

  • Eagerness to independently learn technologies and services, and delve into details.

  • Broad knowledge in the field of Web3 and AI.
