Take a leadership role on the legal side of future real estate portfolio debt financing transactions. Key projects will be the negotiation of revolving warehouse debt facilities and the development, bringing to market and continuous deployment of a new securitisation product (ABS). You will work closely with the General Counsel, senior management and the various functions of the asset value chain in Germany, Spain and the UK.

You will

    • Focus on leading the negotiations and implementation of portfolio debt financing transactions of the Company. 
    • Assist on the legal side of IMMO’s existing and new financial products (segregated mandates of institutional real estate investors, crowdfunding products, blockchain tokenisation etc.)
    • Collaborate effectively across functions to standardise and optimise the company processes
    • Work autonomously, take initiative to make things happen, collaborate effectively and uphold IMMO’s culture and values

What you will bring

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in the finance or capital markets practice of a top UK/EU law firm
    • Experience in leading structured finance or securitisation projects
    • Experience in dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders and of direct interaction with clients and investors, and excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Capacity to work diligently and multitask with a combination of great attention to detail, organisational skills and a sense of urgency
    • Ability to take ownership of fast-paced projects with rapidly shifting priorities, managing them through to completion with patience, flexibility and poise
    • Impeccable integrity with sound judgement and a self-starter mentality, respect for diversity and inclusion, and a strong sense of collegiality, with the ability to work creatively and with an entrepreneurial spirit

Nice to have

    • Experience in early-stage companies or fast-growing teams
    • Real estate financing experience
    • Fluency in German and/or Spanish
