FLock.io is a decentralized AI training and finetuning platform that incentivizes data ownership and community governance. Our core team, hailing from Oxford University, brings over a decade of experience in the AI and Crypto industries. We recently just reached post-TGE stage, and would like to expand our leadership team.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Communication and Marketing Officer (CCO/CMO) to lead our communication and marketing strategies, enhance our public presence, and drive business growth. The CCO/CMO will work closely with the executive team to effectively advocate for the FLock technology, engage with our community and stakeholders, and develop innovative marketing campaigns.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Public Advocacy and Thought Leadership:
  • Serve as a public face and advocate for the FLock technology and its benefits
  • Participate in AMAs (Ask Me Anything), interviews, talks, and panel discussions to promote FLock.io and educate the public about decentralized AI
  • Collaborate with other C-level executives to align communication and marketing strategies and present a unified message
  • Establish FLock.io as a thought leader in the decentralized AI space through speaking engagements, industry events, and content creation
  • Communication and Marketing Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication and marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and adoption
  • Identify key audiences and tailor messages to effectively communicate the value proposition of FLock technology
  • Monitor industry trends and adapt communication and marketing strategies accordingly
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets to optimize ROI and achieve business objectives
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and community members
  • Engage with the FLock.io community through various channels, such as social media, forums, and events
  • Address stakeholder concerns and provide timely and transparent communication
  • Content Creation and Branding:
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content, including press releases, blog posts, whitepapers, and presentations
  • Ensure all content aligns with the FLock.io brand voice and effectively communicates our mission and values
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging visual content, such as infographics and videos
  • Manage and enhance the FLock.io brand identity across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency and impact
  • Media Relations and PR:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists
  • Proactively pitch stories and secure media coverage to boost FLock.io's visibility and credibility
  • Develop and execute PR campaigns to support product launches, partnerships, and other key initiatives
  • Marketing Campaigns and Growth:
  • Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and improve campaign performance
  • Collaborate with the product and business development teams to identify growth opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies
  • Monitor and report on key marketing metrics, providing insights and recommendations to the executive team


Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in a senior communication and/or marketing role, preferably within the tech or blockchain industry
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messages
  • Strong understanding of decentralized technologies, particularly in the context of AI and blockchain
  • Expertise in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Established network and relationships with key media outlets and influencers in the tech and blockchain space
  • Data-driven approach to marketing, with the ability to analyze and derive insights from marketing metrics
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute communication and marketing plans that align with business objectives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances
