At Ledger, we're on a mission to secure the world of digital assets while driving innovative blockchain solutions forward. As an intern on our Coin Integration Team, you’ll have a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in blockchain integration. If you’re excited about learning the inner workings of blockchain protocols, building secure connections between hardware and software, and working with cutting-edge technologies, this internship is for you!

Duration: 6 months
Start date: February / April 2025

The mission

    • Assist in Cross-Team Blockchain Integration : Learn how various blockchain protocols (EVM, BTC, Solana, Polkadot, Cosmos, etc.) are integrated into the Ledger ecosystem and help develop new features or improvements.
    • Support Connectivity Solutions : Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless interactions between Ledger products and the broader ecosystem. Contribute to Wallet Connect integrations, Dapp integrations in Ledger Live, and Wallet API enhancements.
    • Learn JavaScript & Functional Programming : Hone your skills in the JavaScript ecosystem (TypeScript, Node.js, React) and get hands-on exposure to functional programming principles that enable clean, scalable code.
    • Collaborate with Experienced Engineers : Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams (product, QA, security) to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and maintain high-quality standards.
    • Embrace an Agile Mindset : Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, gaining practical experience in agile workflows and CI/CD processes.

What we're looking for

    • Enthusiasm for Technology : A passion for coding, problem-solving, and discovering new ways to enhance blockchain integrations and connectivity features.
    • Basic JavaScript Knowledge : Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript, along with any experience (projects or coursework) in Node.js or React.
    • Willingness to Learn Blockchain : Interest in understanding blockchain fundamentals and Web3 technologies; prior knowledge is a bonus but not required.
    • Team Spirit : Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
    • Curiosity About Functional Programming : Openness to exploring functional programming and modern design patterns to develop robust software solutions.
    • Agile Curiosity : Basic awareness of agile methodologies, with the desire to actively participate in a collaborative, iterative workflow.
    • Bonus points : Exposure to Web3 or Dapp Development (Hands-on experience or coursework in blockchain concepts, smart contracts, or decentralized applications) OR Open-Source Contributions (Involvement in open-source projects, coding communities, or hackathons)

What's in it for you?

    • Flexibility: A hybrid work policy
    • Social: Frequent social events, snacks and drinks
    • High tech: Access to high performance office equipment and gadgets, including Apple products
    • Transport: Ledger reimburses 75% of your preferred means of transportation
