Heretic Ventures is a venture studio that founds consumer Internet companies to address changing patterns of creation and consumption driven by evolutions in technology, culture, and society. Heretic is founded and led by Mariam Naficy, the successful serial entrepreneur who founded Eve.com, the first online cosmetics retailer, and Minted, the pioneering crowdsourced marketplace. Heretic is funded by Mariam and a group of highly successful technology entrepreneurs.
Heretic’s goal is to launch 3 companies over the course of 24 months. Heretic is seeking part-time interns to help further research, develop, fundraise for, and launch business ideas it has identified in the areas of music, art, commerce, and community, with intersections across Web3 and AI. Internships are flexible in start date, but ideally would run now through December 15 and January 17 - June 15. We are seeking students who would be willing to commit at least 10 hours per week.
This role is a good fit for those considering starting businesses or joining start-ups upon graduation and are seeking entrepreneurial experience and highly experienced entrepreneurs as advisors. We are seeking candidates with experience in primary and secondary market, customer, competitor, and investment research to support development of Heretic venture concepts and investment theses. We look forward to meeting you!
