At Anchorage Digital, we are building the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto.

Founded in 2017, Anchorage Digital is a regulated crypto platform that provides institutions with integrated financial services and infrastructure solutions. With the first federally chartered crypto bank in the US, Anchorage Digital offers institutions an unparalleled combination of secure custody, regulatory compliance, product breadth, and client service. We’re looking to diversify our team with people who are humble, creative, and eager to learn.

We are a remote friendly, global team, but provide the option of working in-office in New York City, Sioux Falls, Porto, Lisbon, and Singapore. For our colleagues not located near our beautiful offices, we encourage and sponsor quarterly in-person collaboration days to work together and further deepen our Village.

This individual will be immersed in the day-to-day Bank Compliance program. This individual will work with the Regulatory Compliance Lead and the Regulatory Compliance Manager in the execution of all non-AML matters applicable to the Bank Compliance program. Responsibilities will include oversight of conduct rules and ethics, conduct bank training, complaint management and responding to inquiries from TMG and IA for various audits.

    • Lead the employee trading programs and code of conduct reporting (gifts and entertainment, outside business activities, political contributions) and complaint management
    • Develop and roll-out company-wide training programs
    • Respond to audits (gathering documentation, crafting responses)

Complexity and Impact of Work:

    • Own and scale company-wide training program
    • Primary point person for employee conduct activities
    • Monitor employee questions regarding conduct and training and escalate as necessary
    • Oversee complaint management process

    • Deliver quality work product in a fast-paced, product oriented and dynamic environment

Communication and Influence:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

    • Experience working in non-BSA/AML compliance at a financial services company
    • Developed and delivered training to broad group of stakeholders
    • Worked with compliance automation vendors
    • Managed conduct reporting (G/E, outside business activities, political contributions)
    • Experience with complaint management
    • Excellent messaging and communication skills (understanding and being able to succinctly explain the ‘why”)
    • Experience working with internal and external auditors

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

    • High level of curiosity
    • Balance of working independently, yet still be team oriented
    • You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. :)
