The Global Intelligence Team maps real world entities to the blockchain so our customers can differentiate Exchanges, Scams, Stolen Funds, and many other categories of activity. This dataset is the backbone of all Chainalysis products, and we are growing our team!

As a Crypto Intelligence Researcher you will measure your success by your impact on our customer’s mission. You will embark on discovering untouched frontiers in APAC going deep into the RabbitHole researching cryptocurrency services and conduct ground truth attributions in order to expand our data coverage. You will actively sniff for new cryptocurrency services and build your knowledge of a range of categories of them. You will collaborate with others on the team and across the company to ensure we are focusing on the most impactful areas. The work we do will have a direct impact on the success of the entire organization, your contribution will be greatly appreciated and highly valued by our customers and community.

In one year you’ll know you were successful if you…

• Have a comprehensive understanding of the cryptocurrency attribution process
• Keep an organized list of new targets to identify
• Have become a go-to person for researching and identifying services
• Have maintained high quality of evidence tied to each identification
• Received the Chainalysis Reactor Certification and the Chainalysis Investigations Specialist Course certification and can expertly navigate open-source blockchain analytic tools

A background like this helps:

• Prior experience researching and transacting with cryptocurrency services
• Background in customer service at a cryptocurrency exchange or similar service is a plus
• Ability to stay organized to keep track of in-progress items as new items are added to the list
• Insatiable curiosity about cryptocurrencies and the growing market
• Chainalysis Reactor Certification (CRC), Chainalysis Investigation Specialist Certification (CISC) is a plus
• Fluent English and Japanese or Korean languages is a plus
• Other technical certifications or academic background are a plus
• This position is full-time remote and requires minimal travel
