About the Role

Aethir is the leading DePIN, enterprise-grade, AI-focused GPU-as-a-Service provider in the market. By leveraging a highly distributed cloud computing infrastructure, we help GPU providers serve AI and gaming customers at scale. Our mission is to deliver powerful AI chips for enterprise clients while supporting cloud gaming for hundreds of thousands of users worldwide—all under a decentralized cloud architecture that brings compute power directly to the community.We are building a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain designed to support AI-native agents through secure, decentralized infrastructure. This role is ideal for a seasoned Tech Lead who brings deep backend expertise, strong familiarity with EVM-compatible blockchain environments, and proven leadership experience. You will help design and build our Layer 1 blockchain from the ground up, supporting innovative use cases at the intersection of Web3 and AI.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the end-to-end architecture and core infrastructure design of our Layer 1 blockchain, ensuring a strong foundation for long-term scalability and security.
• Oversee the implementation of the Layer 1 blockchain and integrations with AI and Web3 systems, translating design into robust, production-grade blockchain software.
• Collaborate closely with product, AI, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, ensure alignment with business goals, and drive project execution.
• Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, security, performance, and scalability.
• Mentor and manage engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning.
• Stay current with emerging blockchain, Web3, and AI technologies, and propose strategic enhancements to maintain our technological leadership.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Extensive backend engineering experience and solid expertise with Web3 technologies and deep familiarity with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible chains.
• Strong knowledge of distributed computing, consensus algorithms, and peer-to-peer networks.
• Proven experience in technical leadership or management roles, with demonstrated success in guiding engineering teams to deliver complex technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in blockchain security, performance optimization, and scalability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with blockchain network development (Layer-1 or Layer-2).
• Experience working with AI agents, LLM integrations, or decentralized autonomous AI infrastructures.
• Familiarity with Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), cryptographic principles, and secure key management.
