We are Mythical Games. A Venture-backed next-generation game technology company at the intersection of video games and blockchain technologies led by industry veterans. Our goal is to lead the industry by supporting the launch of exceptional video game experiences that leverage distributed ledger technology via our platform of robust tools, technology, and data for game developers.

We are currently looking for a Creative Lead UI/UX to help establish and guide user-centered product design within the Mythical Platform Organization. You will combine your extensive skills and experience in product, user-experience and interaction design to lead a team in developing and maintaining digital experience that serve to connect millions of users worldwide. In addition to hands-on project ownership, the Creative Lead will also be expected to contribute to the growth of the Product Design team, with responsibility over team leadership, user-centered design process, hiring, team culture, and mentoring of talented team members.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end user experiences across the Mythical Platform, including the Mythical Marketplace
• Partner with other Mythical groups, including Marketing, Community, Game Development and Executive Teams to define and implement product strategy
• Collaborate with other Product Leads to establish clear design tasks, schedules and set expectations for the Product Design Team
• Build close relationships with program managers, engineers, user researchers, content strategists and quality assurance analysts to maintain strong project and team alignment
• Help champion and implement user-centered design methodologies across Mythical Platform
• Drive the iterative design process across features both in development and live
• Oversee the health and efficiency of the Mythical Design System.
• Mentor, manage and grow the Product Design team within the Platform Organization
• Grow and contribute to team culture

Requirements:

• Passion for putting People First in both your iterative design approach as well as your mentorship and peer to peer culture.
• Experience defining high-level strategy and leading a team through the necessary processes to create design deliverables informed by data.
• Experience training, mentoring and managing other designers
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of user-centered design principles
• Experience in working within the Product Development Lifecycle
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and strong initiative
• Attention to detail and solid organization
• You demonstrate a strong understanding in influencing without authority

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years as a lead designer
• Mentoring designers in both their professional and personal development
