K/F Labs, the core team behind the Centrifuge protocol, is looking to hire a Business Development Analyst for its Ecosystem team. The Ecosystem team works on the adoption of the Centrifuge protocol and is responsible for developing Centrifuge users and partners through marketing, business development, and management services. The Business Development Analyst role will support team leads in sales and partner conversations, go-to-market execution, and analysis of the RWA and DeFi markets. Their focus will be on ensuring that external clients and partners needs are being met by existing Centrifuge products and services.
The activities of this role will be split 60% business development and 40% industry analysis with the following expectations:
Business development
- Maintain awareness of existing partners and users, through forums, discord channels, and personal relationships
- Conduct qualification and discovery calls with key ecosystem stakeholders to understand needs and opportunities
- Create written communications and deliver verbal presentations on the products, services, and perspectives within the Centrifuge ecosystem
- Support the business development team goal of onboarding new users to Centrifuge
Domain analysis
- Research prospective partners and users, understand their business models and operations, and present findings internally
- Conduct financial and commercial analysis on capital allocators to be able to provide insights and recommendations on their challenges and opportunities
- Keep up to date with DeFi and RWA market to provide informed opinions on peers, products, and trends in the industry
A qualified candidate must have the following skills & experience
- At least 1 - 2 years of experience in a financial services, DeFi, or similar industry
- General understanding of the DeFi industry, DAOs, and crypto and tokenization trends
- The ability to dig into the mechanics, models, and aspects of a DeFi protocol and its operations
- Basic knowledge of finance and ability to understand financial market trends
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have skills and experience
- Comfort and ability to engage in direct sales conversations and manage interpersonal relationships
- Experience with Real World Asset protocols and trends or familiarity with credit and hedge fund business models
- Ability to conduct deeper financial analysis within domains of corporate finance, investment and risk analysis, or valuation and cash-flow modeling
