About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced individual to join the Compliance function in our UK entity. The role reports to the Deputy MLRO and requires close cooperation with different stakeholders in the UK, the operations team along with key cross functional stakeholders to support a top-of-class Compliance program. In this role, you will:

Responsibility:

  • Completing end to end fiat and crypto investigations, filing suspicious activity reports (SARs) to the NCA and/or relevant authorities

  • Handle fraud investigations and other financial crime related queries from internal and external stakeholders

  • Work with data to identify trends and patterns and help us improve and optimise rules and controls to prevent illicit behaviour in the future

  • Advising on escalations related to fiat and crypto investigations from other stakeholders in the business
  • Higher education, which is suitable for the compliance field of the Company. ICA, CAMS certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proven investigations and SAR reporting experience of minimum 3 years in Compliance.
  • Must have experience in blockchain monitoring.
  • Must have a reasonable understanding of the Company’s business, its technical, financial and organizational structure.
  • Must have good understanding of MLRs, JMLSG and FCA FCG guidance.
  • Preferably have experience using SQL and communicating results.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels both inside and outside the Company and should have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills, integrity, initiative, perseverance, organizational and leadership skills, strong ability to follow up, follow through and meet deadlines.
Excellent command of English; excellent computer literacy.
