Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Technical Project Manager to manage technical timelines and mobile app releases for Plai Day. The ideal candidate is an organized, collaborative individual with a demonstrated history of ensuring that app development projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality. Additionally, this role will provide proactive and constant communication at every level to keep projects on track, keep stakeholders informed and related parties in the loop as we work together to reach our company goals. This position will be a 5-6 month contract reporting to the VP, Operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage releases and delivery timelines for our mobile app.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Product Managers and engineers on tasks and releases.
- Manage each stage of the project from discovery/planning to launch/completion.
- Identify project scope and ensure stakeholder approval.
- Manage time estimates, resources and priorities.
- Identify scope creep and rework timelines keeping stakeholders informed.
- Participate as an active member of the Product Operations Team by communicating releases, upcoming priorities, and delivery updates.
- Host project meetings including; standups, project status meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.
- Provide timely status updates and priorities to engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Identify potential roadblocks, provide solutions, and continuously seek ways to improve team efficiency.
- Keep project templates and documentation up to date.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira and Agile methodologies.
- Experience working in a start-up environment.
- PMP/PMI or Agile Certifications are a plus.
Requirements
- 4-6 Years Project Management experience, , including experience with app development or technical products.
- Proven ability to effectively project manage consumer mobile app projects.
- Deep knowledge of the agile scrum methodology.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency in managing workflows and processes.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate seamlessly across different time zones.
