The Role:

We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Accountant particularly in the crypto and blockchain accounting space. This individual should be passionate about the fundamentals of accounting and possess a deep understanding of the ever-evolving crypto landscape. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise and join a team of crypto-centric accountants.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple client engagements on an ongoing basis
• Handle ongoing client communications
• Oversee bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks Online daily
• Manage vendor onboarding and process invoice entries weekly
• Lead and process month-end closings (i.e., reconciliations, journal entries)
• Collaborate with clients to process payroll
• Assist with cost basis tracking for cryptocurrency transactions and reconcile crypto wallets
• Produce financial statements and management reports for multiple business entities
• Prepare year-end 1099s
• Perform ad hoc tasks
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Highly proficient with Excel/Google Sheets
• Excellent communication skills with team members, clients, and vendors
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
• Highly organized, efficient, accurate, and meticulous
• Passionate about client services and committed to achieving high client satisfaction
• Proactive in keeping up with the evolving accounting changes in the crypto industry
