Your mission

• Lead the teams responsible for developing CoinTracker’s Consumer product

Your one year outcomes

• CoinTracker consumer is recognized as the gold standard product for cryptocurrency tax and portfolio tracking, with a seamless, reliable and intuitive user experience.

• Successfully launched DeFi Portfolio, giving users an accurate view of their holdings, including staked assets.

• Revamped mobile experience, leading to higher user activation and engagement.

• Built and scaled a high-performing engineering team that rapidly ships new features, resolves bugs efficiently, and proactively manages technical debt.

What you will do

• Lead a team of backend, frontend, mobile engineers, guiding the development of features and services for CoinTracker’s Consumer product.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other teams to define roadmap for Consumer engineering team

• Facilitate planning, prioritization, sequencing, and staffing of work.

• Coach and mentor direct reports, supporting their career growth and driving positive impact.

Role-specific

• 6+ years of software development experience.

• 2+ years of engineering management experience, leading full stack (web and mobile) product teams.

• Experienced in front-end development and has a deep understanding of modern web and mobile frameworks.

• Passionate about improving the user experience and have built and launched high-quality user-facing products.

• Skilled at collaborating with stakeholders and driving execution across team and organizational boundaries.

• Thrives in ambiguous situations, effectively balancing trade-offs to deliver high-impact outcomes.

• [Bonus] Experience managing engineering teams at startups before, particularly during periods of rapid growth and organizational change.

• [Bonus] Experience with crypto.

The starting salary for this position is between $264,000 - $297,000. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of job-related factors including relevant skills, education, and experience. This position also includes equity in CoinTracker and benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.
