Smart Contract Jobs in North America

We're looking for a smart contract security engineer. The person in this role will execute internal security audits and testing for Trust Machines apps, in addition to helping us onboard additional smart contract auditing firms to audit Clarity smart contracts. We highly value security in the Stacks ecosystem, which is why we decided to create the Clarity programming language for smart contracts.

The ideal candidate has a background in security engineering, security research, adversarial scenarios, blockchain principles, and strong understanding of at least one smart contract coding language. As our first security engineer you’ll have the opportunity to build out a security engineering function and work with the best in class resources to bring secure smart contracts for Bitcoin to fruition.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform internal code audits
• Onboard additional security auditing firms to audit Clarity smart contracts
• Contribute to a knowledge base of DeFi and protocol security best practices the Stacks ecosystem

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of software development experience, with some exposure in auditing or building complex smart contracts
• Strong knowledge of Solidity/Clarity
• Ideally coming from a security engineer background or consulting firm
• Understanding of EVM and corresponding best practices
• Experience with test automation and monitoring
• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols
