Who We Are:

Telcoin is a start-up fintech provider utilizing block-chain technology to deliver cutting edge financial products and services. Telcoin is expanding rapidly and currently operates in numerous countries with the ambition to launch in many more. As part of our expansion, we are seeking to hire a Senior Accountant (CPA).

Role Overview:

We are looking for a CPA to be responsible for a wide range of activities, including day-to-day accounting responsibilities, driving accounting initiatives, and a variety of financial analyses. This role is perfect for you if you thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment; you’re passionate about producing timely and accurate work products, and you are looking for a company where your contributions will have a direct impact on the growth of the department and the company.

Location: Norfolk, NE or Los Angeles, CA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure the quality, accuracy and timeliness of annual filings across markets
  • Lead NetSuite implementation ensuring relevant integration with applicable internal systems
  • Manages day-to-day accounting functions, billing, financial statements, cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and various analyses
  • Contributes to total financial planning including the preparation and analysis of budgets, cash flow, operating results
  • Manages and produces ad-hoc management reporting
  • Produces quarterly management accounts
  • Builds and owns North America (US + Canada) statutory financial accounting calendar and also coordinates management of global calendar working closely with overseas counterparts

Qualifications:

  • CPA credentials
  • SOC1 Type 2 and NetSuite experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an accounting role within a multinational corporation preferred
  • Basic understanding of (and interest in) accounting for digital assets
  • Thorough detailed knowledge and application of US GAAP
  • General experience in statutory reporting
  • General experience in group consolidation
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of Google Suite applications
  • Experience in GAAP IFRS consolidations is a plus
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills are a plus
