As a Backend Blockchain Developer at TAO.BOT, you’ll be responsible for designing, building and optimizing secure and scalable backend services that power our decentralized trading and liquidity platform for Bittensor subnet tokens. Your work will directly enable seamless Ethereum-to-Bittensor integration, empowering users to effortlessly bridge assets and participate in Bittensor’s dynamic decentralized AI economy.

Our mission is to simplify participation in the decentralized intelligence economy, offering users novel trading tools and liquidity solutions to unlock the full potential of dTAO. What you’ll do
- Develop and optimize backend services using Rust and Node.js with TypeScript.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Integrate and manage PostgreSQL for blockchain data storage and querying.
- Use OpenAPI for API documentation and specifications.
- Debug and enhance system performance.
- Contribute to architectural decisions in a fast-evolving blockchain space.
What you’ll bring
- Proven backend experience with strong proficiency in Rust.
- Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript for scalable applications.
- Hands-on REST API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with OpenAPI.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
Nice to haves:
- Substrate and Polkadot experience.
- Bittensor knowledge.
- Blockchain data indexing experience.
The target salary for this position is between $120,000 to $240,000, determined by factors including your skillset, relevant experience, interview performance, and market conditions at the time of offer. Additional compensation may include short- and long-term token incentives provided on a vested release schedule.
