The Role
As a Product Designer at Kite, you will be at the forefront of designing the user experience for the agentic internet. You’ll be responsible for translating nascent and complex concepts like autonomous agent transactions, digital identity for AI, and programmable governance into intuitive, seamless, and trustworthy interfaces.
You'll be designing the new "checkout" and "Stripe Connect" moments for AI. You will own the design of core developer-facing and end-user experiences for Kite's platform, creating the SDK onboarding flows, developer dashboards, and governance layers that power agent interoperability.
What You’ll Do
- Core Experience Design: Own end-to-end design for Kite's platform, translating complex agent identity, payment, and governance concepts into intuitive developer dashboards and UI.
- User Research & Iteration: Conduct rapid user research and validation loops with AI developers to map and test novel interaction models.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with founders, product, and engineering to define requirements and ensure high-quality implementation.
- Design System Ownership: Build and scale a comprehensive design system from the ground up to ensure consistency and accelerate development.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio.
- Must have: Proven experience designing for technical, developer-facing products, platforms, or infrastructure (APIs, SDKs, dashboards).
- Ability to translate highly complex technical concepts into simple, intuitive user flows.
- A 0→1 mindset: comfortable with ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma), excellent communication skills, and a clear design rationale.
- A deep interest in the future of AI, agentic systems, and/or blockchain.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area (in-person role) is preferred, at least in the same time zone
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in FinTech, payments, identity, Web3, or blockchain applications.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS).
