As a Senior Events Manager at Figment, you will help strategize, manage, and operationalize a robust events calendar and approach across several departments at both physical and virtual venues. You will be the lead and primary POC for industry event planning and logistics.

*Please note that this position requires travel (minimum 1 event per month).

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Create operational processes and systems for events/conferences Figment attends, including pre-event lead targeting/sourcing, lead tracking during events, and post-event lead collection
  • Manage oversight of measurement for events attended using quantifiable metrics
  • Lead and manage all pre-event tasks, including event research, workback schedules, staff travel/boarding and logistics, budget management, and internal event communication.
  • Create an event follow-up strategy, manage intake requests for sales and partnership opportunities.
  • Be responsible for all event management requirements, including registration, attendees, logistics, planning, and communications with internal and external teams.
  • Produce documents and assets for event timelines, prepare speaking and sales documents, legal obligations, marketing materials, budgets, etc.
  • Liaise with the marketing team, sales and founders.
  • Manage staff logistics and any event related issues as events occur
  • Travel to events and manage kiosks, off-site parties, restaurant booking, etc.

Qualifications

  • Ability to multitask and balance multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of excel, scheduling software, and virtual event platforms
  • Previous experience managing events logistics, particularly for conferences and multi-day events
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to set and maintain realistic timelines and manage several projects at once with competing deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
