Web3 Brand Marketing Manager

Chaos Lab's mission is to secure the future of finance. We’re looking for a passionate Brand Marketing Manager who can help us tell our story and introduce Chaos Labs to the world.
At Chaos Labs, we’re developing a cloud security platform for DeFi (Decentralized Finance) protocols through run-time simulations. We work with protocols to automate economic security, risk management, parameter selection optimization, and battle test protocols through the most chaotic (🤗) market conditions. Our platform and tools are used by leading protocols, helping them manage and secure over 50 Billion in assets.
Chaos Labs was founded by ex-Facebook, Apple, Instagram, Amazon, and Microsoft engineers, being 8200 (Israeli Cyber Intelligence) and Technion alumni. We’re looking for curious, hungry people to join the team and help define the security and risk stack of the future.
This is a generalized marketing role that will be tailored to the candidate selected to fill it. Below are some of the current needs and initial responsibilities, but will be split between the Brand Marketing Manager and VP, Business Operations.
Responsibilities

• Define and own the company’s external brand and voice across a variety of channels
• Run data-led experiments to determine where resources should be focused across social platforms
• Project manager product announcement and launch campaigns from initial concept to execution
• Work closely with broader business team on go-to-market strategy for customer acquisition
• Drive continued external visibility by working with media outlets and conference organizers for enhanced brand exposure
• Effectively source, diligence, and partner with external agencies brought on to expand scope of Chaos Labs’ marketing
• Dive into data to present management with insights around marketing campaign success and strategies

Requirements

• 3+ year of experience in marketing related roles with prior poof points of project ownership
• Excitement around crypto / web3 and desire to truly integrate yourself into the ecosystem
• Demonstrated experience (& excitement for) working in self-managed, fast-paced environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain complex topics in a clear way to both crypto-native and novice audiences
• Demonstrated understanding of a marketing funnel and how to align campaign strategies with customer journeys
• Ability / desire to work in and move to New York

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience and broad network at a web3 company
• Experience working with data-oriented / B2B product marketing
• You love working in small, dynamic, fast-paced teams that encourage you to learn and grow
• You are passionate about using your experience and expertise to inspire the team
