Web3 Chief Marketing Officer, Digital Assets Industry

Cube is a start-up designing an innovative digital asset marketplace to revolutionize digital asset trading by combining the best features of centralized and decentralized marketplaces with our novel security infrastructure. Our user-centric platform is designed to allow users to secure their own assets and have access to liquid markets with radical transparency, security and speed. By addressing the challenges faced by traditional centralized exchanges and DeFi, Cube aims to become the go-to digital asset marketplace for market makers, institutional clients, and retail investors seeking a one-stop-shop solution.


Cube is preparing for a Q2 beta launch and seeks Chief Marketing Officer to join the early-stage team to work on all things related to marketing in the digital asset realm. The team is crypto-passionate, low ego, high output, and optimizes on progress and action above all else. This is an opportunity to design and implement a global compliance program on a blank slate.


The Position:

Cube is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer with fintech experience to lead all cross-channel growth efforts of the core marketplace and trading product. We built Cube because we believe that blockchain technology is the perfect mechanism to create a future of verifiable financial outcomes. However, web3 has been ridden with marquee headlines that are indicative of human — not smart contract — greed and failure. Cube is designed to combine the best of centralized and decentralized exchanges.


This executive team role is a perfect fit for a boots-on-the-ground marketer who’s not afraid to jump into chatrooms, one on one emails, and user research calls. This role is a perfect fit for someone that can craft compelling, digestible, and powerful marketing stories.

  • You employ the latest in divergent marketing tools and can build content plans across multiple different formats. You’ve already begun experimenting with generative AI and are excited about the ability to scale yourself through the power of the latest wave in tooling.
  • Global experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in marketing in Fintech
  • MA in Marketing, Managementor similar relevant field
  • Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Exceptional knowledge of marketing techniques and platforms.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills. The compensation package for this position also will include competitive equity incentives, participation in management bonus program, and other generous benefits including unlimited PTO.
