Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate investment opportunities across early-stage and growth-stage crypto projects.
- Lead comprehensive due diligence, including technical, market, competitive, and team assessments.
- Structure and negotiate investment terms, working closely with founders and legal teams.
- Serve on portfolio company boards or as a board observer, providing strategic guidance and operational support.
- Contribute to fund strategy, including thesis development and market narrative shaping.
- Represent the firm externally through thought leadership (e.g., writing, speaking, networking).
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate on portfolio management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in crypto/web3 investing, with a proven track record of successful investments (e.g., multiple exits or high-return deals).
- Deep crypto-native expertise, including strong understanding of protocols, token economics, on-chain data, and market dynamics.
- Prior roles as a founder, operator, trader, engineer, or investor in crypto (experience at top-tier VC firms, protocols, or exchanges highly preferred).
- Extensive network among founders, developers, and other investors in the crypto space.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degrees (e.g., CS, Economics) a plus.
- Preference for alignment with global crypto hubs.
