Responsibilities
- Keep track of the development of DeFi and the crypto industry
- Develop and present investment ideas & strategies supported by qualitative research and quantitative analysis, including the ability to proactively source & effectively leverage inputs from other stakeholders as appropriate
- Summarize and/or present investment idea proposals to portfolio managers and senior management for approval
- Monitor existing investment positions and their performance regularly, and ensure operational tasks, where they arise, are communicated timely to the operational workstream for handling
- Perform other ad-hoc duties related to investment operations and portfolio management if needed
- Demonstrated interest in DeFi and familiarity with DeFi investment opportunities (e.g. PoS staking, AMM liquidity mining)
- 1-2 years of experience in investment-related roles and/or management consulting
- Strong academic credentials: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with engineering, mathematics, finance, accounting, or statistics background
- Relevant qualifications such as CFA, FRM, CAIA, or demonstrated progress towards the qualifications would be an advantage
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
