To help us continue our growth, we’re seeking an experienced Vice President of Engineering to join our highly skilled team to own the Gigamart product (our NFT marketplace) and further expand our NFT community. As an ideal candidate, you:

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day management of the engineering organization including software development, platform architecture and people management.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Management and Design teams to refine, enhance and deliver on our product roadmap.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the strategic & technical objectives of the company, our core IP, and how to improve upon this to make a material impact with our customers
• Design, implement, and monitor all operations and key performance metrics for the engineering team
• Build the engineering team and culture
• Provide strong daily inspiration, leadership, and management to the engineering teams, including recruitment, employee training and development, and performance management
• Drive a software development lifecycle process and culture that ensures the appropriate balance of quality and time to market.

Qualifications

• 7+ years successfully leading software development teams in a VP, Sr. Director or CTO role.
• Experience delivering scalable, high quality SaaS software, preferably in the B2C space
• Track record of recruiting, developing and retaining top engineering talent
• Ability to think strategically across both business and technical domains
• Experience working with remote teams
• Expert in agile development methodologies
• Track record of working closely with Product Management, contributing to the product strategy and helping to successfully deliver on a product roadmap
• Full stack experience, including devops web, and backend technologies
• Experience with or passion for blockchains, NFTs crypto currencies and other decentralized technologies
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
