Senior UX/UI Designer

Our development team is based in Slovenia and the team is open to accepting applications from: Slovenia, Zagreb, Rijeka, Graz or Klagenfurt. Anywhere from Europe will be considered.

 

The Oasis Protocol Foundation is looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our growing team.

As Senior UX/UI Designer at Oasis Foundation, you'll be responsible for collecting and translating user insights into amazing experiences. You’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our user’s needs. You will use your creativity and eye for design, along with your technical knowledge, to develop great experiences in the pioneering field of Privacy & Confidentiality focused blockchain applications. You'll work closely with the technical product manager and our development team. Together you'll deliver UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs, and final products. In this role, you'll have the privilege of being the voice of our users. You'll translate their needs into intuitive and user-friendly designs. You will have a direct impact on the user-experience of our products.

• Leading the design efforts of the Oasis Block Explorer project.

• Leading the design efforts of the Oasis Wallet project (web, browser-extension, and mobile).

• Collaborating with the technical product manager and our development team to create user flows, wire frames, mock-ups and implementation of the UI and UX.

• Performing user research and translating insights from research to your designs.

• Participate in design implementation reviews.

• Manage project priorities, fast-paced deadlines and concrete deliverables. The blockchain ecosystem moves notoriously fast.

• Improve design standards and processes.

• Preparing documentation and other written materials.

 

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience

• Experience with distilling simplicity from complex user requirements

• Experience with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Invision, Photoshop, Marvel, Overflow

• Experience with user research and translating insights from research to your designs

• Great communication skills both when interfacing with users as well as when working with your team

• Ability to lead large and complex projects

• Knowing how to define and prioritize problems to be tackled

• Familiarity with Double Diamond design process model

• Familiarity with Metamask or other crypto wallets and block explorers

• Interest in Privacy & Confidentiality

• Fluency in English
