Salary Range: $72,000 - $90,000
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Customer Due Diligence, AML alert reviews, and escalate potential compliance related risks with recommendations for mitigation.
- Ensure appropriate adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Transaction Monitoring procedures.
- Perform sanctions/PEP screening and adverse media searches.
- Independently assess and analyze research results and conduct data analysis applyingbackground knowledge and experience.
- Perform other compliance related duties as assigned.
- Maintain a current thorough understanding of AML/CTF laws, regulations, including policies, procedures, regulations, industry best practices, criminal activities and developing trends.
Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or other advanced degree from reputable institutions.
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience with AML/KYC regulations in banking and financial services industry.
- Strong analytical mind-set, structured approach and attention to details and accuracy with excellent problem-solving abilities & devising solutions with knowledge of cryptocurrency regulation on a global scale is a plus.
- Ability to communicate issues to management in an effective manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and teamwork awareness.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Prior experience in or knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain industry, of fintech a plus
- Knowledge of Mandarin highly desired, but not required
