Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Crypto Investment Analyst with a keen eye for identifying burgeoning trends and narratives in the crypto market. This role is pivotal in our mission to diversify and multiply our assets through astute investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor portfolio assets for news, social media updates, milestones, staking opportunities, airdrop farming prospects, and risk factors including competition, protocol vulnerabilities, and upcoming token unlocks.
• Identify early investment trends in the cryptocurrency industry, assess opportunities, and engage with online communities to gain insights, facilitating timely and informed investment decisions.
• Collaborate with reporting staff to maintain and update a portfolio dashboard for day-to-day and week-to-week monitoring of assets.
• Generate portfolio balance reports, including profit and loss (PnL) analysis.
• Conduct due diligence on liquid and seed-stage investments to support portfolio selection decisions.
• Prepare detailed reports on protocols for review by company founders as needed.
• Attend industry events to stay updated on market developments, network with industry professionals, and gather insights for investment strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of crypto assets, identifying emerging trends and capitalizing on investment opportunities.
• Employ deep market understanding to make strategic, informed investment decisions within the crypto industry.
• Execute robust financial analysis and active portfolio management to ensure investment diversity and profitability.
• Collaborate with investment teams to develop and refine investment strategies, including monitoring software and services in the crypto sector.
• Provide insights on current trends in crypto funding and perform in-depth analysis of new and promising crypto assets.
• Stay abreast of market developments and work closely with operations to support and align overall investment strategies with company objectives.
  
  

• Strong financial background, ideally with experience in crypto investment funds or similar fields (e.g., DCG, CoinBase Ventures, Polychain, Galaxy, Pantera).
• Accreditation such as CFA or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to understand and analyze complex financial data and market trends.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• Deep Passion for cryptocurrencies and understanding of related technologies.
