What you’ll do:

You’ll be a member of the Brokerage Operations team at Public. The Brokerage Operations team is responsible for many of the critical functions of Public’s business including opening member accounts, managing deposits & withdrawals, managing the universe of securities (e.g., stocks, ETFs, cryptos) available for purchase on the Public platform, and trading on behalf of Public -- among many, many other things. As a part of the team, you will help manage all of these processes & functions on a day-to-day basis, working to “keep the trains running on time” while continuously working to find ways to improve the (and your) systems and processes. In addition, you will independently drive projects and analyses that support our ability to grow the business and improve the investing experience for all of our members (e.g., finding new sources of financial data).

• Ability to identify opportunities to improve and automate systems & processes
• Interested in markets & investing
• Series 7 and/or 63/66 (or other FINRA certifications)

Bonus Points:

• Financial services experience
• Public markets investing & trading experience
• Experience with markets and financial data, and platform providers (e.g., Bloomberg)
• Fluency with (or interest in learning) SQL and/or Python programming languages
