Almost two billion people around the world don't have a safe place to store their money or are excluded from financial services such as payments and credit. Struggles with inflationary currencies prevent families and communities from building basic economic security. To help solve this, we currently offer financial services in high inflation economies so that everyone can protect the value of their money. Our app users in Latin America can easily save and spend in US dollars, without worrying about their money devaluing overnight.

That said, we're not a bank. Reserve is a new way to store and move money, creating new saving and spending experiences beyond borders. Please note that this role supports the Protocol side of our business, not the application side of the business. On the Protocol side, we're building tools that enable anyone around the world to launch and grow an asset-backed currency using the Reserve.org protocol, Ethereum, & Defi.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled DeFi Growth Content & Comms Lead Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as Reserve's editor-in-chief and ensure a consistent brand voice, sharp copywriting, and messaging for all community outreach on social media, blogs, and events. We are looking for someone who is passionate about producing high-quality copy, has excellent project management skills, and possesses a creative mindset. The right candidate is a multi-medium storyteller with a keen eye for detail and driving impactful calls to action, and the ability to eli5 DeFi on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate should possess intermediate knowledge of DeFi and a strong understanding of Twitter strategies for top-of-funnel engagement and Discord strategies for bottom-of-funnel community retention.

Requirements:

• You are a DeFi native actively participating in decentralized exchanges, lending, borrowing and stablecoin applications
• 4+ years of experience in marketing and communications with examples of how you have impacted other projects
• Able to articulate how RTokens work, and contrast them to other types of stablecoins
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to clearly explain complex problems and enroll the team in solutions
• You have a schedule that can accommodate being online for the PST time zone US workday - we are flexible on location
